Though I think Cleganebowl is a thing and will likely happen, IMO it's not. I also don't believe it relates to what others think it's about.

Most think it's Bran witnessing the drama at Castle Darry as the King's entourage is returning to King's Landing after Ned is enlisted as Robert's Hand.

However I don't think Bran is witnessing all these events in real time.

the 3EC says to Bran that the Trees know and the Trees remember, and that they aren't limited by time restraints.

    My 2c:

If Ned is pleading with the King, why is Sansa crying herself to sleep while Arya is holding secrets? Lady is not dead at that stage, so Sansa is not so upset that she is crying herself to sleep.
And Arya isn't Arry, Lumpyhead, Weasel, The Ghost of Harrenhal, Nan, Nymeria, Salty, Squab, Cat of the Canals, The Blind Girl, The Ugly Litle Girl, Mercy or Beth at this stage. So no secrets yet.

As for Ned pleading, with the King, Ned never once pleads with Rob during this Darry scene.
If anything he approaches the event with aggression and demands.

Even his response with the King agreeing to have Lady killed is not a question:
    .
There is no pleading here as far as I see it.

I think there's only a possible instance where Ned Pleads with the King. When he begs they don't kill Dany, which happens later on in the presence of the small council in Kings Landing:
This is what I think Bran is seeing, something from the future.

When Sansa is crying herself to sleep,I believe it's after Ned is already dead and she is a hostage at King's Landing.

When Arya is holding secrets, I think she is either in the Riverlands or THoB&W; where she takes on many aliases.

Another reason I think they are separate occurrences, the vision of ned is separated from the other 2 with a full stop, where the girls are separated by a comma. I look at this saying the Shadows are around the girls, not Ned. He could however be seeing the girls simultaneously.

    Now for the Shadows:

He sees "shadows all around them", so it is possible there are more than 3, but these are the 3 he focuses on.

It's hard to go past Sandor Clegane as the Shadow "with the terrible face of a hound". The Hound is also has quite a profound influence on both Sansa and Arya's life in the near future. This could also be Gregor, but I think Sandor.

As for the shadow; "armored like the sun, golden and beautiful". I think this is Cersei Lannister. As her actions also directly affect the lives of the girls. Some say Jaime or Barristan, but why would a Bran think a man is beautiful? Another

Shadow 3 is of course the real mystery in my mind.

"Over them both loomed a giant in armor made of stone, but when he opened his visor, there was nothing inside but darkness and thick black blood."

Gregor Clegane/Robert Strong was my 1st guess, however after my second read through I am thinking this was too simple and he really had no influence on the girls so I'll strike him out.

Petyr Baelish is another name that has been thrown around. He's pulled a number of strings, his former sigil was the Titan of Bravos.

I however believe it is none other than our favourite supposed Eunuch; Varys. He's a giant in the affairs of the realm and everything up to this point has his powdered fingerprints all over them.

And the "Thick Black Blood"? I believe it alludes to Varys' Blackfyre anscestry.

    Thoughts?

I like it. May read over agin in the morning when I can think but it makes sense.

As soon as I read the hound bit, my mind jumped to Cleganebowl, was the first thing I thought of :p

A glamour is magic. Mance wear's a Ruby and suddenly looks like Rattleshirt.

Then there is the House of the Undying, which has magic everywhere. And Mirra Maz Duur; both her blood magic and the egg hatching scenes. Te Teleporting boat at the Bridge of Dreams.

    Definitely magic IMO.

I certainly think GRRM has used a heap of his previous Sci-Fi ideas in the ASOIAF series, though the interpretation of paranormal in Sci-Fi is different than fantasy.

Sure there could be some Psionic stuff happening, but there is definitely magic too.

Sandor, Jaime and Ser Robert Strong.

Those 3 are the obvious ones though really.

    I cant go past Sandor.

Jaime? Why does Bran call him beautiful? That says to me it's a woman. Besides, Jaime really doesn't have anything to do with the younger Stark kids. His influence is more on the adults. Ned, Catelyn, Rob etc.

What colour armour does Jaime give Brienne? Is is golden? After all, she is known as Brienne the beauty.

Robert Strong just doesn't strike me as a major player as far as what characters are being affected.

 Bran's coma dream. AGoT: Bran III.

I think you are trying to read too much into it. Bran's "seeing" is pretty straightforward and non-deceptive.

    Watched the series again.

Though still entertaining, S5 pisses me off with how they butchered the story.
