Is McGuire injured or something? Wtf did he do to lose his incumbent spot? And how is Boyd ahead of Napa in the pecking order if it's youth they're looking for?

    Doesn't make sense.

I am stoked with Friend's selection tbh. Shows they have a decent Smith-succession plan in order.

Also means Walters will be more inclined to pick him than McCullough.

Ponga has made himself eligible for QLD and Australia, apparently. Noice...

I thought the Brisbane Lions are going to sign him under category B.

Jeez if you'd told me at the start of the year that Shannon Boyd would be starting for the Kangaroos I'd have shaken my head.

Loving seeing the reports backing Fifita after not making the team after consorting with criminals when Mal's done exactly the same thing.

Are you talking about his brother?

    Chalk and cheese.

Andrew Fifita is the only thing that made me not completely happy with the sharkies winning the comp. He's just a dick of a human being.

Both Radradra & Fifita being excluded because of 'behavioural issues' is a joke.

My understanding of the Radradra situation is that he's denied all allegations so fuck knows why he's not allowed to play.

Fifita shouldn't be there but regardless but who gives a fuck what he writes on his wrist to motivate him during a game.

Then Turdston comes out and says not only does the senior playing group support it, they demanded it.

Just wish they'd stop fucking with the game in their crusade to make it something for everyone because it's quickly becoming irritating for everyone.

Yet Ferguson and Dugan are walk ins with a squeaky clean behavioural record.

I wish that last line were actually true but unfortunately my experience is that it simply isn't. Read the comments in response to articles regarding this issue. They're overwhelmingly in favour of this so called hard line. I think we're in a minority on here (that's true of many issues relating to player behaviour.) It seems to me that most people actually do think the NRL and it's representatives have a duty to go way overboard with this shit in what they call protecting the esteem or image of the game.

Papalii out. Trbojevic called into the squad. Fuck knows why.

I though Gillett was no chance of touring.

Kiwis pack has me a bit worried, they could completely dominate.

It's absurd. Sure he's a player for the future but he's not in the top 10 middle third forward's in Australia.

I'm amazed that Holmes has been selected really. I don't mind because I think he's a gun but to pick him on the left ahead of Oates, Mansour even Chambers was a bit surprising.
