RNG cards didn't ruin the game, the fact overpowered cards all had internal RNG present did. The 3 most powerful cards that rotated all did (to a degree for 1 and heavily for the other 2)

The new deck archetypes (C'Thun etc.) are actually pretty fun too. I think I'll have to wait a bit for the meta to develop a little more before I decide on what cards to craft next. I have a few in mind that I'd like to craft now, but I don't have enough dust for all of them so I want to make sure to make the best choice possible.

Ever since the new expansion pack I go into every game hoping the opponent has a Yogg saron they plan on using.

I've gained 4 ranks since the change and had 2 gods cast in my games, and 1 was just an "I've lost, fuck it" moment. Sticky aggro decks still exist more than people want to think.

I'm still in infinite arena mode to open da packs.

I just spent 4000 gold on packs. I have pretty much all of the cards I need now, bar a few legendaries that I am still trying to decide on crafting. I feel like Yogg-Saron would be a good choice, but I just can't bring myself to do it.

    Define good choice.

I just don't want to craft Yogg-Saron just because a lot of the time playing it feels like a coin flip to win or lose the game, IMO.

My philosophy is pretty much to find the most practical legendary card(s) to craft first before using my dust on niche cards/I'd rather craft a card that can be used in multiple deck archetypes rather than let's say a class legendary. But I'd probably make exceptions to this rule.

Yogg is a fun card with 0 viability because he's probably going to boardwipe and fatigue you whilst killing no-one

Yogg Saron is both the most fun, and most inefficient, card in the game. Technically there is a slightly better chance of it helping the owner due to self-buff spells and enemy aoe-clears like flamestrike and consecrate, but it doesn't offer nearly enough chance for success to warrant playing in a serious deck.

Honestly I don't think I'd run it if it were a 10/10 body.

Got back into HS purely due to this expansion. Best part about it was being able to DE naxx/GvG cards. Meant I have enough dust to actually craft meta-relevant decks. Brilliant move from Blizzard as they're going to regain a lot of the casual playerbase that had stopped playing due to the P2W narrative.

Everyone who DEs those cards will regret it later. Unless the cards are total trash.

EOS golden Epic one I just crafted 2 of in gold too...

I'm not going to disenchant many of the Naxx or GvG cards just yet in case I decide to play in Wild mode. However, I'd still probably disenchant some of the trash tier cards because it's not like they'd get used anyway.

I used to hate playing Rogue before WotOG, but since I've been really enjoying it while playing a variation of this deck: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/502185-trumps-theorycraft-nzoth-deathrattle-rogue

    I subbed out:
x2 Preparation for x2 Journey Below
    x2 Sprint for x2 Shadowcaster
x1 Loot Hoarder for x1 Bloodmage Thalnos

However, you could probably swap out x1 Journey Below to put back in the second Loot Hoarder, depending on personal preference. I opted to keep the second Journey Below instead of a second Loot Hoarder because discovering an Anub'arak or a second Xaril is really solid value for 1 mana and it has great synergy with N'Zoth.

Overall it's a really fun deck to play, especially if your N'Zoth survives until your next turn so you can use Shadowcaster on it, which will pretty much win you the game in most cases.

    Shaman is viable again. Yaaaaaaaay

Also I forgot how crazy the ladder was at the start of the month. Having a 20 minute fatigue war with someone at rank 19 with my attempt at an Old Gods control warrior is not something I expected to do yesterday.
