    I wouldn't mind at all if she ends up being Luke's kid, I like the idea though that without knowing it, Leia and Rey are embracing over the death of husband/father.

    And how fucking good was Kylo's rage? That dude was crazy as shit. Wrecking everything when he was pissed off. Bet he kills the shit out of General Hux at some stage.

    Surely if Leia can feel Han die through the force, she would've felt that her daughter was still alive. Even if the connection isn't strong enough now for her to be recognised, she would still know if she was alive/dead IMO.

    I expect the trauma of her son turning and killing a bunch of people at the time when she believed she lost her daughter would have affected her.

    Similar to Vader not knowing about Luke/Leia from the get go.

    Leia has only had a short time around Rey so far iirc.

    Kylo is a fucking legend. Awesome villain and strong as fuck in the Force. I have a feeling we will see more use of the Force than lightsabers in this trilogy.

    I was gutted at Han's death. My favourite character as a kid and his death felt like I got stabbed in the chest too.

    I liked how even in the Star Wars universe you still stop and listen to your dad when your yells at you. :laugh:

    BB-8 is gun too. His devotion to Poe rivals R2 and his devotion to Luke.

    Going to see it again on the weekend. I can't get enough.

    What're the odds that Snoke as actually tiny and his hologram is just making him look massive.

    Yeah Snoke is almost certainly at very least, normal size. The Emperor had a massive hologram of his own head to seem intimidating.

    I'm under the impression that Rey and Kylo are the same age, and he didn't go dark side until his teen years. I saw it as Luke training people to be Jedi, Han and Leia sending Kylo to Luke because they can't control him, then Luke teaches him for years and he falls as a young adult. So the ages wouldn't match since Ben Solo seems quite young.

    I also loved how untrained Kylo Ren is. He's brute force. A kid with too much power. He twirls his saber around at the end and tries to look confident but it's all an act. The way his character becomes less intimidating and more broken as the movie went on was really good. Also loved the use of the star and fading light during the Han/Kylo bridge scene.

    Snoke was hugely underwhelming though. Would rather he was only an off screen mention than having the hologram chats.

    Maybe. I kind of hope Rey isn't related to any of the main cast from the OT. It feels overdone for me. I know it's about hitting beats from the OT, but more hidden and unknown children is lazy at this point IMO. Shit, make her a relative or Palpatine, or Plagueis or something. My bet is she has some connection to the first Jedi temple that Luke is looking for.

    Sorry was watching it again haha.

    So I carefully watch Reys flashback and it looks like Kylo Ren strikes down someone attacking young Rey, possibly one of his "Knights" that Snoke refers too. She then gets given to that ugly dude she gets the rations from. (I'd imagine this means that when they're killing the other students he stops them from killing her)

    Also she speaks both droid and wookie, which seems a bit uncommon. I'd peg her at 6-8 when she is left on Jakku and judging from how childish they shoot her, she might be 18 or younger.

    Han also refers to Ren as a boy when he turned on Luke. So the rebellion is presumably 14-18 year old Ren. My window of ages would have Rey as 17-20 and Ren as 24-30.

    Kylo also acts pretty strange around her, when he first successfully probes her mind it's about how she felt alone on Jakku and then her feelings towards Han Solo. He also entirely avoids any blows to her body in their fight, aiming wider disarming ones, he never intended to kill her.

    The only thing that remains a little in doubt is her connection to Leia and Han. The Ren-Rey thing is definitely there.

    I suspect we will get a "final" test of Rens training with Snoke making him kill her.

    Oh yeah, that would work. She's a Knight of Ren in training. That makes the most sense.
