    Been hoping that for 20 years. Not the same team as in the 80s when they'd win the conference but not get elected to the league. Don't think they've come close since about 91 to going up, and have gone down once or twice in the last 10 years

    Downside is Ricky Pontings a director there, makes me feel a bit sick

    Yeah the owner also runs one of the big coach firms, think they supply the ECB, got to know Ponting through bringing the Aussies around the country in 2005???

    Put me off them a bit to be honest. And to think I once pulled on the fabled red and white (well, green as I played in goal)

    Conference a different animal when Alty won it a few times though wasn't it. If I'm not mistaken they are still a semi-pro club? One of the games I'm looking forwards to most mind you. Probably only Jester, Wrecscum and Southport I'm more excited about.
