Well we'll see. It doesn't really bother me whether he changes or not, in all honesty. Not when he's playing this well, anyway.

Hendo looks a future LFC captain. If we actually went with the best option rather than pandering to Suarez then he'd have been captain when Agger and Gerrard were both out.

Yeah, I've really been impressed with Rodgers totally switching his philosophies too and not being the stubborn bastard I was half expecting. At Swansea his possession-based style worked wonders because he had the players for it, but at Liverpool we've got the players to be a deadly counter-attacking side and so he's adapted to that. And it's awesome that he's done that.

Yeah, Gerrard hasn't really got the legs to deal with counter-attacks so that's the main reason he's done so well since our switch in philosophy, I guess. If we counter-attack then by definition it means the opposition have more of the ball, and so aren't counter-attacking themselves, which is great for Stevie. Rodgers has it all worked out and it's really, really exciting.

IIRC your point was that he wasn't a manager but a head coach. Which now I look back at it was a fairly reasonable point. He's certainly a manager now though, his tactical shifts from game to game are magnificent these days.

Still an awesome coach though, as proven by the improvements of basically every player, but particularly Sterling, Sturridge, Suarez, Henderson. Plus, managing Gerrard's positional switch has been so awesome. He's been played deeper by previous Liverpool managers but never been coached nearly as well as he has been by Rodgers and it shows. Not sure I'd trade Rodgers for anyone aside from Pep, ITBT. Even I wasn't saying that in our debate!

In terms of singles, it depends. I suspect Riddy and I are too far ahead in the rankings to be caught up by you, Deane or Wood, so it's between the three of you for two places, and there's not an awful lot in it, so it's just who has the form by the next time I pick really.

Slightly similar situation in the doubles, except Riddy isn't that much further ahead than the rest of you, so you could potentially catch him up and sneak into the team there.

It might be that if the person who misses out on the singles is pretty close to being the second ranked doubles player I might put them in the team anyway, just so everyone gets a game.

Yeah man. I'm trying to gain a grounding in economics too (actually far better mathematically than anything else) and logic is a big strength of mine.
Processing large amounts of information quickly, being able to condense to what's relevant and spotting patterns/trends/inconsistencies.

Hit me with a PM IMO.

Well I'm the Thunder. See if you fancy anyone. I'd probably include Kendrick Perkins in any deal as a replacement, plus I've got draft picks I can donate.

It looks like Benny has submitted some line-ups now, so you shouldn't be a problem until next time. :p
