Had an MRI last Thursday so waiting for an appointment for the results from that. Had my my first physio appointment today after my initial assessment and referral on the 14th. Apparently it seems like meniscus and some damage to where it joins up with my hamstring. Not sure how 'good' news that is but just gla it's moving in the right direction as recovery has really plateaued between visits to the hospital.

That sort of turn but at pace and without the jump.

Brought myself on up top for the last 5 mins of a friendly match. Left back had the ball running forwards and slipped a ball down the line behind their right back. I pulled into the channel to pick it up and was facing the touchline, in line with the penalty spot. So at this moment my momentum is moving to my right towards their goal line, I've touched it with my right foot to my my left and behind me, so I can either cross or shoot with my right, as I was twisting on my standing left leg and shifting momentum, it just snapped. Felt it go instantly, a genuine twang almost.

Little tip: don't go for an MRI hungover.

Injured playing football. At the time was a suspect ACL tear but physio yesterday said its doubtful as my knee still locks/bounces on impact from the front or something. Couldn't tell what it is from a simple assessment so being sent from an MRI. 70% of the time it's fine it's just stuff like if my leg is straight and I rotate my foot inwards it is agony on the inside of the joint. When bending my knee and bringing my heel to my ass, it's fine up to a right angle and then it's so painful. If I kneel, I have to be straight, as outing any extra weight through the front of that kneecap is agony etc.

There's been a lot of improvement in 2 weeks, I can walk now unaided, but still far from perfect. It pops/clicks all the time too.
