Agree with most of this but I'd definitely pick Peachey ahead of Radley, assuming Radley is in for Wighton in your team.

I really wish Nathan Brown had come back a couple of weeks earlier than he did.

Doesn't really matter. They're all mediocre and similar in ability. None of them make big metres per carry.

  3. Magic AJ Parker

No I would pick Radley in Murray's spot on the bench.

Crichton dropped for another prop (Finucane)

Kind of resigned to Haas being there on the bench + one of Wighton/Walker. Agree on Peachey but he's just no hope given how heavily the current selectors weight club form. Cleary excepted.

Saifiti is a prank media pick who I'm very surprised you've fallen for the hype on, but I agree otherwise.

Holy fuck Radley. You cunts have lost the plot, he is red hot sweaty garbage

  6. Wilson SB Wilson

Wallace has also had about 200 errors the last 3 matches in a row too.

I’d be pretty stoked if NSW cycled their starters off for Finucane and Saifiti.

I've been a Saifiti fan for a long time. Surely made some posts on here in the past.

He's averaged over 100m for 3yrs straight in the most comprehensivley beaten pack in the NRL. 23yr old with his best years in front of him.

I mean I would quite happily pick Junior Paulo too, toss of the coin between those two for mine.

  9. Magic AJ Parker

Would make a better half than Townsend.

Yep one search of Saifiti and looks like I'm the only cunt who has spoken about him on here outside of mentions in team listings.

Agree with this. I’ve liked Saifiti forever too. Him or Paulo for mine with so many unavailable. I don’t think Saifiti is ready but he’s better than all the other current options.

Anyone else think Paul Vaughan has already started to regress as a player? His game was always built on that under rated footwork and above average power/acceleration for a big front rower. Appears to me he’s still trying to play the same game that made him top tier but he’s not poking his nose through nearly as often. This change sees him way too often heading towards the sideline when he hits the line after the double shift for a hit up.

I might be reading too much into it but it’s what I see at the moment.

On Fittler: I don’t think he’ll drop Wighton. If anything, as ghastly as it is, I could see him promoting him based on defense, energy, kick chase etc. I also think Tom Trbojevic is long odds for game 2 considering how tentative he was on the weekend. And considering Manly play on Sunday afternoon it’s a hard one for Fittler.

I think Freddy will pick a squad of over 20 (with options at prop and Trbojevic as an extra) to be decided early in the week after a few sessions.

lol at Stuart calling for him to be the starting 6. NSW scored two tries in a game where they needed to score 3 or 4 so yeah let’s promote a bloke who has fewer try assists in the NRL this year than half of Cricsim.

Fittler’s made a rod for his own back. To pick the bloke in the first place and then to defend his bizarre bench rotation, praising how he played; how can he flip on Wighton now?

Like Taylor said, more likely the cunt will start. Tbh I think he’ll be the 14 again.

I’d sooner pick Pearce on the bench ffs.

Keep hearing whispers that Pearce doesn’t want to play for NSW. Understandable if true.

  16. Julian BJ Taylor

    Well the feeling is mutual.

Pearce only needs to not die for 5 days and he will be back. Johns obviously called him to see if the talk of him not wanting it is true. It either isn’t, or Johns has turned him around.

As bad as Pearce has been in Origin, he really wont do any worse than Cleary imo. Pearce has had dozens of Origins like Cleary’s first 4; basically does nothing of note. Difference is he got roasted way more for it because of how many games he’d played.

The last origin game he played before he got injured around the 50 min mark was his best ever performance for nsw, he may be a bit better now that he's older. The argument for Pearce has been the same every year.. none of the other options are any better. I don't know why nsw has failed to produce a dominant half for so long now. Maybe club scouts need to spend more time out in the nsw country looking for halves where they're less likely to be drowned out by pure athletes.

I'm not watching if NSW don't pick enough props.

Sorry to hear you didn't watch Game I.
