I think it won't take long for Haas to become the best prop at the club by far. I think Carrigan will get there too fairly quickly, was the captain of the U20s and impressed a lot with his leadership too.

I wouldn't mind a good half either, to partner and teach Dearden, while moving Milf to fullback. Surely all the players Seibold is letting go off means he's got a few signings in mind?

    Defence is their problem.

They can make all the spine changes they like but that's bit going to stop 6 tries being scored against you.

Pangai Jr is the best prop they have. His defence isn’t good enough to play lock.

It’ll help. Half of those come from Milford being in the front line.

Roberts is the worst defender in the team.

Second worst. Milford is one of the worst defenders I have ever seen.

So Roberts and Isaako are dropped for this week.

    Rumours are:
Roberts will be signed by Souffs soon.
McCullough, Boyd and Glenn are unwanted at the end of the season.
Lodge (or specifically Lodge's wife) is homesick

It would be good if some of this dead weight is gone (except for Lodge, and maybe Glenn), but I hope Seibold has some replacements in mind. There isn't a lot of talent off contract.

Can’t really disagree with Seibold there. He’s got a good eye. Get rid of the lot of them. Keep the good young forwards, bring an experienced and quality prop in, buy a decent halfback and away you go.

Putting aside endurance and physicality I swear there are RL forum members who could give better service from acting half than McCullough.

    The RL Gods are listening.
McCullough down with a knee injury. Turpin will come in.

Josh Mcguire wouldn't be a bad signing if they're looking for an experienced prop.

DT saying we've signed Segeyaro for the rest of the year? Is he still any good? Probably not, not even playing NSW cup it seems.

He was playing NSW Cup for the Newtown Jets (Sharks feeders club) earlier this season at the very least, not sure whether he has been playing lately. Definitely wasn't setting the world on fire.

Seggy is a great signing. I was calling for it before the injury to Macca.

Well, looks like McCullough is back 50 rounds early. That was fun while it lasted.

  18. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

    Put him at lock.

Sounds like Milford will be at fullback against the Knights. So this means that the Broncos will probably go with a 6. Boyd 7. SOS halves pairing. Yikes.

I hope we have some decent signings lined up, and not just numpties like Rhys Kennedy. I can't remember the last time a club let go of so many players after the preseason already started (Kahu, McGuire, Roberts, Nikorima, Su'a...anyone I'm missing?)

  20. Julian BJ Taylor

Less of a yikes than Boyd at fullback imo.
