And yeah, they're not. Ponga is better than both of them.

Trbojevic is the best fullback in the competition imo.

  3. Magic AJ Parker

Definitely during his Warriors days, unless I'm mixing you up with someone else.

Honestly can’t remember if I did or not...

I certainly wouldn’t say that now.

I considered that it might have even been me, and same reaction really. Can't remember panning him but wouldn't be that surprised. He's the best defensive fullback now IMO. He's been able to pull off stupidly special try saving tackles for a little while now, but the last year or so he's dramatically improved his positional play too.

Ponga reads the game really well at the back but he still gets beaten one on one too often to be anywhere near that claim.

SURELY Finucane finally gets a crack at Origin this year with JDB out.

I think there's a good chance it'll just be McLean effectively replacing him, with Jake T being used as a lock instead of an interchange prop. I've never really completely got the McLean hype but Fittler sucked him off at every opportunity last year while he was out injured so I reckon he'll be starting up front Game I.

    8 Klemmer
    9 Cook
    10 McLean
    11 Cordner
    12 Frizell
    13 Trbojevic

    14 Campbell-Gillard
    15 Vaughan
    16 Sims/Crichton
    17 Peachey or possibly Radley

Though Munster and DCE are front runners for the 6 and 7, and rightly so on game 3 and early season form; Norman has been quality for the Dragons IMO. If there is an injury or 2 I wouldn't be against him getting a nod.

  10. Magic AJ Parker

I wonder if DCE gets the captains role?

Would be a bit of a lol but I don't know who else you'd give it to?

Gillett? Gagai? Scott (if he's picked)?

Queensland's side looking really skinny now. Apart from maybe the halves and potentially fullback where do they have us beat?

  12. jazman84 JM Eightyfour

If Gillett can get back to 100% he is as good as any back rower.

If they play Arrow at 13.

    Smith comes out of retirement...

Yeah, we'll have to do it the hard way like we used to before the streak.

Inglis out pretty much guarantees Staggs getting a gig IMO. He's a gun.

  14. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

    Staggs is a blue.

  15. Cribbage RG Cribb

    New South Welshman tbh.

I think Morgan will take Inglis's spot and Hunt will get a bench spot.

  16. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Which is the best option despite the lack of football.

It won't happen though. They'll pick Gagai and Mitchell will rape him.

  17. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Friend at 9 and have him and DCE share captaincy.

  18. Cribbage RG Cribb

I could definitely see them picking Gagai there if they had heaps of wingers to choose from like they have for the past couple of years, but they don't. Edrick would probably be next cab off the rank.

  19. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

If Gagai hadn’t played so well in Origin, I would honestly leave him out for Thompson.

What you say is true but Gagai is playing there for club and Morgan isn’t. And these cunts love the idea of good wingers playing centre.

if Matt Scott is still getting picked shouldn't he be captain?
