    Im so mixed on Fergos depature.

    He has been an absolute beast this year but he still has so many basic errors in his game.

    We really don't have much depth in the 3/4 either.

    Billy Smith looks a good up and comer but still a good 12-24 months off first grade.

    Parra wanted him but needed to get rid of Norman before they could offer decent coin. If he really wanted to stay he could've waited out the outcome of that -- it doesn't look like staying here was a priority for him compared to getting a good deal and having his future sorted ASAP (which is absolutely fine, but it's not the narrative we'll hear).

    Looks like we have picked up Ryan Hall as Fergo's replacement.

    Given the way the recent outside backs who have come over to Australia from the ESL have struggled I'm a bit skeptical. At 30yrs of age there's not a whole lot time for him to settle into the NRL.

    His playstyle shouldn't be affected by the jump in quality as it's a power game. Most of the backs who've come over and bombed hard have tended to have a skill/finesse game and cant handle the fitness/physicality.
