    Ugh stfu about his influence with the referees. How fucking trivial can you be? Name an all-time great captain who didn't have major influence with the refs? His cunning with offcials is part of why he's such a great captain and player. Should he not to try influence the refs, as every other captain does? It's always this obsession with Melbourne people have. Smith's captaincy, their tactics in the ruck, how often they're penalised. It's just sour grapes. You hate it because they're the best at it. Simple as that.

    What a ridiculous reason to not like the guy, let alone shit all over his amazing rep career. Never mind the garbage about him being a pussy. Oh yeah he really only cares about his Melbourne buddies. That's why he's missed more club games for rep duty than any player in history.
