Some bookies already have their odds up for next week. ABs at -18 spread seems like a given to choose really. No way will we play as badly as tonight AND George North is out by the sounds. Seems like a good bet this far out.

I am glad I didn't bet on Wales 18.5
1) the odds were reduced to 17.5 on game day so I wouldn't have gotten that spread
2) as you say it should have been 25

Here is my bet - $10 down and stand to win $38.
Fiery - get on NZ -18.5 while the going is good that spread will increase during the week. NZ will win this by 20 plus. Especially if we dump Savea to the bench.
He has been eating to many McDonalds Georgie Pies and looks well off his best.

Even if we don't drop him it still seems pretty safe.

I see Wales are paying $1.50 against the Chiefs tomorrow, probably value in that given its basically a 3rd string Chiefs team with ABs gone and injuries.

Thanks for the tip mate. I would if I was a betting man...I'm not usually ...I think I have my lifetime worth of sports betting with the one with MF for the Warriors making the top 4.

Ah fuck it...Hey Rego...put that $50 you owe me on this would ya? ;)

I reckon all the criticism of Savea is utterly ridiculous tbh. He doesn't look overweight at all to me. If he was that fat he wouldn't have been able leap that high above the opposition to score the opening try. Chris Rattue wanked on in his column about him needing to be dropped and I was scratching my head.

7. Rego RS Hutchinson

Done.

Fat probably isn't the best of words. Just unfit, like he was until Hansen got him into shape last year. That being said he's not been all bad for the Canes this year although probably mixed, was amazing after he was dropped when playing the Jags.

Knowing Hansen he'll stick with him and especially because we don't really have any other specialist left wingers.

Oh Wales 40-7 loss to a very 2nd string Chiefs haha. Obviously a 2nd string Wales team but my god, they had most of the pill and got absolutely no where. All that proves is the poor depth in Wales.

Tbh I'm a little surprised by Hansen dropping Savea, not saying it's no deserved but didn't expect him to do that for game 2. Gotta feel for Barrett, he really has labeled himself as an excellent impact player and hence Dagg starts at 15. Hopefully Naholo plays well at 11, he wasn't as good as he was made out to be last week (too many crucial errors wrecked what would have been a good performance). Him playing well will not only be good for improvement sake but also good for knowing we have 11 cover outside Savea.

McKenzie for number 11?

They did it with Kahui?

12. Jabba HJ Bots

McKenzie is tiny, he weighs like 75kg or something

13. Rego RS Hutchinson

Fuck no. If he is to ever play for us it has to be at 15. Tbh I kinda reckon he'll flop in the AB Jersey if he ever gets a few games. There's just no way he's ever starting over the likes of Smith, Dagg and even Barrett. I'd be nervous with him at the back against a team like South Africa. No way he ever gets the 10 either.

We'll sooner see Moala at 11 among a long list than him at 11.

So is Savea lazy?

15. Rego RS Hutchinson

I guess we don't really know. Everyone just accuses him of being lazy/ unfit when he plays badly but we don't really know what goes on in training etc. When the Canes dropped him this year for a game, the next he was explosive and scored 2 or 3 stunners. Same thing in the 4 nations last year. Hansen knows how to get the best from these players so I trust he knows what he's doing. If Naholo cuts his mistakes out and plays well at a 11 it's a positive regardless. When NMS is back 11. Naholo 14. NMS 15. Smith looks pretty good if Savea isn't playing for whatever reason.

DMac will be a gun All Black when he finally gets his chance, I wouldn't be surprised if at some point down the track that he starts at 10. He has plenty of time

17. Fiery GR Smith

Totally. He has the talent to be a great All Black.

18. Starris ER Starris

Maybe it's lack of motivation... because when he's on he's the best there is... such a powerful runner.

19. Fiery GR Smith

Beaudy and Ben. What a try! :toot:

Barrett might have gone ahead of Cruden in the pecking order with this sublime performance
