    No. He went to the club mid season saying his hamstring felt wrong. They rubbished him and forced him to keep playing, when it turns out there was actually something wrong with it when he went to them. He missed the year because of their medical team's incompetence, and then Pies used the fact that he hadn't played to offer him base wage. They used the fact he didn't play to offer him SFA, when the reason he didn't play was due to their own incompetence.

    What IF a deal cant be done between Cats and Crows? i know theres a mi-nute chance of that happening, but im sure if we offered a 1st + 2016 2nd ? would aybe be enough? cant see who we would add? most of our guys are signed up

    If a deal can't be done he'd have to nominate for the draft.

    Basically whatever the Cats offer, the Crows can (and probably will) match. Then if they choose to do that, then Geelong can trade for Dangerfield but if the Crows aren't happy with anything Geelong dishes up (and Danger refuses to re-sign with the Crows) he'll end up as a delisted player and have to enter the draft.

    To the best of my knowledge that's what would happen

    Nah. If Geelong makes an offer (and Danger accepts) he's either be at Geelong or Adelaide. The act of Adelaide matching his contract means he is signing the same deal but with Adelaide - he won't want that however and we all know clubs don't want players who don't want to be there, so he'd get a trade. Only way he makes the draft is Geelong doesn't offer him a FA contract and only tries to trade for him. A deal can't be done and he finishes the FA/trade period without a contract. Chances of that: 0.00000000001%

    Yeh I said worse case. Adelaide would rather have him playing for them then not signing a deal at all though, even if he doesn't want to play there. That way they can sort out a trade for him.
