    No warts there mate, epic victory and possibly a potential super star has emerged.

    You would have won going away if the coach had've let him run the show in the second half instead of having the full back step into first receiver to kick for position.

    One of those games where two guys got sent to the bin and the Argies were good enough to make them pay. Lack of discipline hurt Australia.

    They didn't play badly other than that Argies just wanted it badly.

    Mad celebration in the coaches box afterwards where not only did the argies coaches hug each other for 5 minutes but one guy wrapped his leg around the circle which led to the commentator stating "Looks like a game of twister up there'.

    I saw that bit on the news... guess we were lucky they kept their clothes on!


    Good on them I guess as that's victory number one notched up.


    Hopefully the ABs have had a wakeup... I've been thinking we've been coasting through with the mentality we are untouchable as that is what a lot have been saying.


    I mean we had a draw against a hungry side in Australia and look to have been beaten by a slightly better side in SA. To top that we just beat a very understrength English side at the beginning of the season.


    If we are to have a chance of winning the WC we need all hands on deck and all fit and healthy and firing on eight cylinders or more.


    I'm of a mind to ditch Carter... use him as a kicking/1st 5/8 coach but he's a liability if he just get's injured in pool play... give that time to someone like Barrett who needs the xp.

    Hey I'm all for DC if he can keep himself fit and injury free... he's the best the game has seen imo. But if he plays a game here and a game there and does nothing but prevent someone else getting the xp needed to be an AB 10 then we're better off cutting our loses.


    He's great but he's never played a winning WC final.

    You know Starris (I enjoy chatting to you btw) when I made the point that he doesn't have a cup to someone when we were deciding who is the greatest 10 of all time people objected and said that doesn't count in rugby since it is a 22/23 man game. But he is a fly half and has massive impact on the game so I think it's a valid point.

    I think his injury proneness is the issue... he has been around for 3 or is it 4 WCs?
    You'd think that's ample opportunity to bag one.


    Has he even played in a WC final?


    And yes you can't win anything on your own. Something that makes the current AB squad good... they are all about the team not a single individual.


    I was thinking about the next WC and I reckon it's gonna be a goodie. SA seem to have a good side and Australia and England have both troubled us this season and will only get better. We have our work cut out for us. Can't help thinking we have a number of older players coming down the other side of their careers.


    How many more knocks can Read and McCaw take?


    I enjoy the banter too.
