Or the minor Premiership holders, or the most tries scored in the game, or the most handsome fullback. I think if the result was going to be decided without ET it'd have been more likely to be a Spartan win imo... so yeah can't quite see why Athers would not think it fair.
I'll voice my displeasure as I think substitutions would have worked differently had ET been a factor.
So while doing your sub orders, you considered the different tactics that you would use in the extremely rare circumstance of a draw, then decided to ignore that thought and go with your current set up? Plus also deciding that although this circumstance could so drastically change your game plan, you would not maybe ask Heef about the finals draw situation?
I apologise for making the assumption that as there was no procedure for a draw, that a draw would be a draw.
Then account for that in advance. Heef offered odds for the draw so it was obviously a consideration so why not make plans prior to the FT whistle?
