Damn, I pretty much have created Djokovic. No errors, get everything back in play and serve like a retard.

Confident ahead of my matchup with force given his return rating of 80 in theory should be made redudant by my shit serve or maybe he'll just be able to tee off on me for easy breaks.

Glad to make the final anyway.

Two early exits for me after doing alright leading up to the knockout stage. I'm just glad I'm not as bad in this sim as I am in the Rugby Union and Soccer sim :p

Backing the Burger/Yates combo, just because of that serve :P

So here we go then, and it's Chris Warrington to get us underway. He serves, and Bosh Burger returns right back into the net. A lovely volley from Force just beats Burger's volley to make it 40-0. But Warrington serves up 3 consecutive second serves, which his opponents take the chance to target and it's worked! They bring it back to a deuce. But Warrington serves well to force two errors to take the first game. Burger to serve now. And that's a double fault right off. That set the tone for the rest of the game, which ended in a break point for Warrington/Force to take a 2-0 lead. Force's service game was won easily, meaning that it's Samuel Yates up next to serve. He starts with a blisteringly fast ace past the racket of Warrington. Force copes with the next one, but he's too out of shape by the time Burger vollies back his return for another point. Warrington puts the next serve in the net, before another booming ace to take a love service game. The next four games are very unexciting, and Warrington/Force take the first set 6-3.

And the second set begins, and Burger and his team mate get the game to 0-40, 3 break points! Warrigton is able to serve his way to a deuce, but a couple of long rallies are taken by Yates for a break of serve in the first game. But is seems all in vain as Burger is broken right from the off to level the set at 1-1. Force and Yates both keep serve (Yates with a love service game), then Warrington and Burger both need long deuces to come back and win their games. This carries on until we get to 6-6 and a tiebreak. They keep it steady until 5-5, when Warrington puts one into the net. Second serve, and Yates just hammers that home to give his team the advantage with Burger to just hold on for the set. He serves. Warrington returns well. Yates runs across the net to volley into the corner, just past the outstretched forehand of Force. The ball just bounces in, and it's level at one set all.

Scores are level at one set all (6-3, 6-7 (5-7)).

Up your serving game Warrington ffs!

  14. Mariner CL Warrington

So we're in the third set now, and it's 2-2 before anything actually happens. Warrington is the man to be broken yet again, and not much else interesting has happened in this set, apart from Samuel Yates going through nine deuces to hold serve int the final game, and to take a lead in the match itself.

    Warrington/Force trail Burger/Yates by 2 sets to 1, 6-3, 6-7 (5-7) 4-6

Carn baby, the prank team can win this.

  17. Mariner CL Warrington

Into the fourth set, and everyone seems able to hold serve for once. Oh wait, we've just had a break. And you'll never guess who it is, Yates of all people has been broken. The British duo take the next three games with ease to take the set 6-2 and level the scores again.

    Scores are level at two sets all, 6-3, 6-7 (5-7), 4-6, 6-2

    Five set thriller!

  19. Mariner CL Warrington

Final set, everything has been as fine as it can be for both teams so far. Warrington/Force lead 6-5 with Yates to serve. He does, Force returns, Burger edges it and that's out. Double fault from Yates, 0-30. An ace brings it to 15-30. Yates serves again, better this time. Warrington returns straight to Yates. He makes a nice groundstroke across the court. Force is there to volley, but the ball hits the edge of his racket! Burger goes sprawling, but it's in, he tries for a cross court shot and falls over. It's behind Force and Warrington can't get to it. But it's out! Two match points for the English team.
Yates to serve again. There was a thud from the wall behind Force, and I think that's an ace. Didn't even see the ball. And again! He's brought it back, and we're going on here, it's 6-6 and we'll continue until we have a winner.

Oooh, tense finish. Making me feel less bad about missing my bus home to watch this
