Welcome to the Round 3 clash between Central Coast Bears and the Parramatta Eels.

Read loses the toss and Hindmarsh decides that his team will receive first use of the ball. Perry gestures to his team that he's about to kickoff and he sends the ball downfield to the waiting arms of Ben Smith who interchanges passes with Inu. Smith takes a hitup and is crunched by O'Neill, he's going off injured.

 

Mateo runs the ball before being barrelled by Gemmell, he loses at least 5m. Robson jumps from dummy half, Kingston kicks from his 30, this is an horrible kick! He puts it 10 rows back into the stands! Turnover for the Bears

 

1st min

Perry takes the ball from the scrum, tries some Fred Astaire stuff but it's fooling no one and he's secured easily. The ball is taken by Jacobs at dummy half, charging on towards the ball is Gemmell who runs straight at Mortimer who is less than effective with his tackle! Gemmell hurdles and conbtinues on and shows suprising pace to elude Hayne and score 10m to the right of the uprights!!!!!! Great try!

Jacobs comes back and he's slightly off as the ball scrapes the uprights but its still 2 points

2nd min


Hayne kicks off to restart play and he finds James 10m out, James runs towards the sideline and he breaks the tackle of Burt! He's through! He reaches the 50m line and Hayne comes across in cover and he bamboozles him with a HUGE left foot step!!! He's going to score a miraculous try!!!!!!, Smith chases galliantly but James has too much toe and he scores halfway between the Posts and sideline.

Tougher kick for Jacobs here, will he keep it up? Too good he nails yet another shot El masri the 2nd.

The Bears play out a solid set of forward play before the ball is kicked downfield by Fung all the way to the 20m line. AAAAAARRGGHHHHHHHH! My Wii just froze!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
