    Update: 40 mins
GEC King takes the ball for the kick off. He puts up a brilliant kick and gives his forwards loads of time to get there. But yet again, the GB lifters do their job and MacDougal is propelled into the air, and claims the ball. He quickly taps it back to BL Hornby who decides to go blind. WHAT A DECISION FROM HORNBY! HE HAS PUT BLUNDER THROUGH! Brilliant cover tackle from Vago just inside the ROA 22metre line. Dafter just manages to get there and takes a pick and go, giving his forwards time to get there. And they are all over it. Hornby passes to Ames, who pops it to the oncoming Graham. TRY! GRAHAM EXPLODED THROUGH THE ROA DEFENSE AND SMASHED THROUGH DEVONSHIRE! GB 12-0 ROA. Tough conversion from Ames, and he slices it to the right. GEC King takes the ball for the third time in 40 mins to kick off. ROA need to improve. King has gone blind with this kick and Borisc has taken the ball! Luffman couldn’t get near him. Borisc goes down and support gets there quickly for ROA. Perry goes on his own. BROKEN THE LINE! PERRY IS SPRINTING AT FULL TILT AND ONLY HAS ONE MAN TO BEAT…WHAT AN OFFLOAD FROM PERRY! HE PUT VAGO IN UNDER THE POSTS! TRY, ROA! GB 12 – 5 ROA. King isn’t missing that conversion. GB 12 – 5 ROA. As the two teams walk into the tunnel it is 12-5 to GB at half time, but anything can happen from here.

    Update: 60 mins
E Ames walks to half way to take the kick off. He puts a low kick all the way back to Devonshire. He steadies himself and hoofs the ball away. But it hasn’t gone into touch and Deane has a chance to spread his legs. He charges full pelt and completely runs over B Dover. He passes to C Laing who takes the ball into the tackle. Ruck formed. ROA contest well, but GB set the ball back cleanly for Hornby. He takes a box kick. Oh, but it has gone wrong and it is a lineout just out side of the GB 22. P Orr makes the throw. It is perfect, but somehow, someway, McDougal gets to it! That is world class stuff. He taps it back to Hornby who passes it to Ames to clear. Solid kick. They lineup for another lineout just inside the GB half. P Orr makes another good throw to the front and Funkotron takes it. Perry directs the play and hands the ball to King. King dummies to Vago. Then dummies to Borisc. He has completely wron footed the GB defense! He passes it out wide to Son. Son opens his legs and belts it. Blunder tackles well. Graham comes in and turns the ball over for GB. Lovely play from Graham there! Ames stands it at Scrum Half and hands the ball to Wilkinson on the charge. JP Wilkinson flattens Son and keeps going. BANG! Massive hit from Devonshire on Wilkinson there. That will hurt. But Wilkinson made about 30 metres with that brilliant Pick and Go. And GB are lacking support, but they just hold on. Hornby passes to Ames who chips it over. It bounces once straight into Farnsworth’s outstretched arms. TRY GREAT BRITAIN! THAT MASTERCLASS TO KEEP HOLD OF THE BALL FROM FARNSWORTH THERE HAS GOT GB A TRY IN THE CORNER! Ames doesn’t have the accuracy to convert the conversion and it sails off to the right. The score is 17-5 to GB.

    Update: 80 mins
King jogs up to the half way line to take the drop-off. He puts a decent one into Hornby’s hands. Hornby gives it to Dafter who opens his long legs and belts it. He makes about 15 valuable matres. GB recycle well and miss past to Golding. He steps past Vago and his through the gap! HE OFFLOADS TO BLUNDER AND BLUNDRE IS THROUGH! NO-ONE WILL CATCH HIM! TRY GB! The score is now 22-5 to GB with the conversion to come. Ames gets the conversion with ease. 24-5 to GB now. ROA with the re-start. They put a long one to Graham at the back who hoofs one back. He really put his foot through that! Massive kick. Orr is passed the ball and makes the call. But MacDougal has stolen the ball again! He has been so dangerous in the lineout today for GB. GB take it into a rolling maul and drive 10 metres. Hornby finally takes it and chips it over the top himself. But the ball rolls over the dead ball line and goes dead. Scrum to ROA. Perry feeds well and Orr hooks back with brilliant push from Gee and Miokovic. Gemmell takes it from the back of the scrum and powers right over Hornby. He hands off Blunder. AND HE IS THROUGH! WHAT A RUN FROM GEMMELL! FLATTENING ANYONE IN HIS WAY! He is finally taken down on the GB 5 metre line by SLO Graham. Only 2 minutes to go now and it looks like it is GB’s game. BUT PERRY HAS TAKEN THAT OVER IN THE CORNER! LOVELY PICK AND GO THERE! King stadies himself for the conversion and misses by a country mile. The score is 24-10 to GB. Last play signals the ref. E Ames takes the ball and just smashes it out. The ref blows his whistle and the players shake hands. Great Britain have taken this one 24 points to ROA’s 10. The Man of the Match today is BJ Gemmell.

    Signs of improvement?

  10. Eds E Ames

Do we think this way is better? I do.

  11. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

So... why are we not getting ratings?

  12. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Yes, however will be hell of an effort on your part to do that every game.

Maybe try and get a stats output.

  13. Eds E Ames

I could manage two games a week tbh.

  14. Doog J McDougal

    Yeah, it was good.

  15. GYR DW Lewis

Take it from someone with much experience, you will get sick of it. :p

  16. Eds E Ames

I will keep doing it till I get sick of it then ;)

  17. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Only sim Rep and Finals live tbh.

Rest just give Stats at the end, or maybe a list of events like last time.

  18. Eds E Ames

No-one seemed to like the list of events. I reckon it is just as easy this was as it is writing down a list of events.

  19. Baxter MJ Deane

He didn't miss the conversion but they didn't get the points?

  20. Eds E Ames

Hmmm...Must have written the score down.
