Starts tonight with North Harbour v Counties.

Expecting nothing more than Welly to promote, no excuses not to, our squad is immense.

I think I'm going to do a $30 bet challenge for it - start with $30 and see how much I can turn it into by the end. Can get some really good value in odds if you keep up with the action, quite often things are over/ under valued. Can be a bit harder at the start of the season with lots of new players but can also be the best profiting time.

Anyway discuss...

USA/Canada to submit joint bid for 2023 Rugby World Cup

The article states that Russia have already bid for 2023 and that USA/Canada may have more luck in 2027.

Hold on there, chaps. That'd potentially mean:

2015 - England
2019 - Japan
2023 - Russia
2027 - USA/Canada

I think it's great to have the showpiece of the game held outside it's traditional heartlands, but not...

Great news about next year's Northern Hemisphere tour. NZ Maori set for their first NH tour in 4 years to tie in with the All Blacks and Black Ferns playing too. Sounds like a great idea to me.

Can't do my standard OP yet, but I do notice that Jonny Bentley is back in NZ and will be Wellington's first five this season. I used to play cricket with him back in the day. Was a pretty useful batsman. Probably could have played at least 2nd grade if he wanted to take his cricket seriously.
